Clothing/Jewelry
Dress as you would for any class, but keep the following ideas in mind:
- Wear simple patterns or solid colors.
- Avoid the color red – it tends to “bleed” in video.
- Avoid black and white outfits.
- Large, dangly jewelry may create distracting noise.
Self-Evaluation
Videotape yourself on a regular basis and review it privately. Ask yourself the following questions:
- Is the camera adjusted properly where students can see me?
- Are students interacting and involved in the lesson?
- Was I organized and prepared for activities?
